​Bay Area Electric is an S Corporation owned by Dan and Tom Johnson.

Founded in 1978, Bay Area Electric has been serving the Houston/Galveston area for nearly 40 years. Started by Dan Johnson, Bay Area Electric primarily focused on serving residential and small commercial customers. In 1993, Tom Johnson joined his brother and the company incorporated. Over the years we have grown and expanded our service to include special systems installations (Building Management Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Industrial Controls) at schools, hospitals, high rise buildings, industrial chemical plants, as well as continue our original commitment to our residential neighbors.
